What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 38

Many study the fifth chapter of Romans when they consider Adam and his sin. Often they don’t see the overall purpose of Romans or the fifth chapter. The Jew had a argument with the Church of Christ over who the greatest and most important man to have ever lived. The Jew demanded a representative of their ancestry or the originator of their seed to be that man. Abraham not doubt was and is one of the important men of all time in the histories of man but in no sense comparable to Christ Jesus. Neither is anything done in time compare with the work of Christ. The sin of Adam, as important as it was, could not compare with the redemption in Christ. Sin is not comparable to righteousness.
“Through the sin of one.” Satan had been working to bring down the greatest of God’s creation, man. He had been looking for a way to bring them under his subjection as he had the angels who sinned. Adam, the un-approachable one, never seemed to entertain Satan. Eve, the last and most beautiful of all of God’s creative work was his door to Adam. Satan knew God in a way far superior to either Adam or Eve. Knowing God’s utter hatred for sin, he had to get Adam to sin. Eve could not sin in this fashion. The only way Eve could have sinned was to violate the covenant in which God included her; “multiply and replenish the earth.”Genesis 1:28 The amount of time spent with Eve shows the cunning and carefulness of the master of deceit. Adam had been given a law no other man had been given. It would become known as the “moral law.” Unlike other laws given by God at this time, the moral law did not involve the “law of the conscience.” Not detectable by man’s conscience, this sin could be committed by only one man! “ Adam’s transgression” was singularly and totally Adam’s for to Adam and Adam alone was the moral law of sin and death bound. (I fear repeating myself, but it seems many have overlooked this vital consideration!!) This is clearly seen by the fact that to Adam there was alone this possibility. God had told Adam (not Eve) “that the day he ate of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, that day he died.” Genesis 2:17 I cannot say it often enough, Eve could NOT commit a sin when she was NOT apart of the covenant. This is extremely important in correcting the denominational lie of inborn sin. Since Eve was not accountable to God, if she ate of the tree, her eating would not have been a sin, she was merely “in the transgression.” If you violate a command that is apart of another Law of which you are not covenanted, you have not sinned. One major denomination, today, shows its misunderstanding of this principle, the Seventh Day Adventist. They try to make a command of the Law of Moses binding on the Church of Christ. This CANNOT BE DONE!! We do not and never have “kept the sabbath day holy.”
Listen to the text, again: “by one man sin entered into the world.” Romans 5:12 Can you imagine yourself the ONLY possibility for this sin? “Sin was not imputed when there is no law.” Imputed comes from the Greek word ellogeo and means to set to one’s account, lay to one’s charge. Interestingly, the Holy Spirit tells us this type of “sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law (covenant).” Romans 5:13 “The fruit (results) of Adam’s sin was in full glory and reigned from Adam until Moses,” why?, that sin was not done away, it had born the fruit (given Satan the “how to” to get man to sin, which prevailed and lorded over us. “The soul that sinned, died.”) How did this sin reign? “After the similitude of Adam’s transgression.” It was a certain KIND of sin. As man was separated from God when he sinned, the very sin of which Adam participated, was not a sin anyone else could commit. There was NO moral Law so sin or one of this kind which would separate us from God from!! It was not until the sabbath command that such a law again existed-and again ONLY to those to whom it was given!! No man who was not of the covenant of Moses could commit a sin by violating the sabbath day command!! No man AFTER the nullification of the Law of Moses could sin violating the fourth commandment in the Decalogue!! Only one nation, one part of that nation-the male, not woman, could violate that command!! What would happen if a woman under the Law of Moses violated the sabbath command? Nothing, she was not covenanted nor did she have the evidence of that covenant, circumcision!! If Eve was not covenanted, the woman of Israel, and all Gentiles were not covenanted, it would follow that all those who broke a covenant because of the law of sin and death, Romans 8:2 It had to be broken, not inherited!!

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 36

What did Adam, do? XXXVII
Did Adam literally, die? Adam was dieing already!! From the moment of conception, man starts the return to his Maker! Not left here on our own, God takes back to Himself what He has created, mankind. Aging is the name of this process of that return.
One of the greatest proofs that original sin is not true and from God is the death of the body!! Not all age, some age but very little, and some to a great extent. Aging can be sped up by intenional disobedience to God’s laws for the body or can be restrained by being obedient to His laws. Ephesians 6:3, but God controls, establishes, sets our time of existence on the Earth!! The very fact that man existed before he sinned in perfect harmony with God (although he was dieing) in the Garden, proves this truth. When sin came into being, God threw him out of the Garden of Eden, not out of physical existence!! If sin determined the time of existence, it wold be out of God’s control. Hebrews 9:27 Some of the longest lived of humanity were they who were the most diabolical yet lived the longest span of time. “The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord.” Job 1:21 “There is a time to reap and a time to sow” Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, and again God does not reap where He has not sowed! Length of time in physical life is not determined by being righteous. Death is not punishment it is the way God determined to end physical life whether we were good or bad. Death being a means of punishment from God is a false concept that most have been taught which came from old wives tales!! God controls ALL things, He knows the numbers of hairs in your head and the day of your death-we have an appointment that we will not miss!!
There is a physical death and there is a physical death. What changed in Eden brought about spiritual death! “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” Ezekiel 18:5-20 Sin SEPARATES man from God’s fellowship!! Isaiah 59:1-2 Jesus said; “If ye die in your sin, whether I go, ye cannot come.” John 8:21,24 The day that Adam was separated from the fellowship of God, he died-SPIRITUALLY. It would require the blood of God’s Son to repair this!! The day Adam died, spiritually, Eve DID NOT!! She was in the transgression, not the transgressor!! You think that would not be fair of God? Neither does it seem fair that some are raised with the gospel at their side and others are not-this is a curse of parental negligence, not God!!
What law did Eve violate the day Adam ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil? What law does a woman violate in rape, incest, or adultery under the Old Testament Law? There ARE some laws that are not amenable to those to whom there is given NO control!! “Sin IS the transgression of the law of God.” 1 John 3:4 “Where no law is, there is no transgression.” Romans 4:15 What law did Eve violate? She was apart of the transgression, just not as a transgressor. For to her no law had been given !! Some think because Eve could tell of the Law given Adam, she was amenable to that Law. I have been blessed with three children who all knew the plan of salvation years ahead of their obedience, who knew of the Lord’s Supper years ahead of their membership in the Church of Christ, yet NEVER partook. All of us have had children who knew it was wrong to take God’s name in vain years ahead of sinning when they , being responsible to the law, sinned when they profained God’s name!! There are many examples that all of us know that could be shown to support this truth, yet some think Eve sinned before she violated any Law, this cannot be. Could Eve have lived with Adam as a sinner? Many women have. Did she STILL have to bear children by him? Many have. What changed was (because of her part in violating the law of the 1st order), she was placed in subjection to Adam’s wishes and given pain in child birth (which has been passed to all women)! Could Eve have gone to be with God at death in the third heaven and Adam to the paradise in the heart of the earth? If this was the only thing you are considering (and calling it a sin on her part) she would not have been guilty of disobedience and would have gone to the third heaven at death!!
Things changed in the sin of Adam, his fellowship with God!! ON the cross of Calvary, Jesus cried a truth to which many have not listened; “this day, thou shalt be with Me in Paradise.” This is the first invitation offered man to come home!! It had taken God some 5,000 years or better and the death of His Son to make that possible!! COME HOME!! Jesus said; “I am the Way”.

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 35

Did Adam physically die when he sinned? Did God lie when He told Adam he would die when and if he sinned? Did Eve die the same time and for the same act as Adam? What did God mean when He told Adam he would die IF he ate the forbidden fruit?
Most people are of the opinion that God was telling Adam that the day he ate the forbidden fruit, that day he would physically die! That is NOT what God was telling Adam. Adam and Eve had begun the process of physical death from their creation. The moment we as human beings are conceived in the womb, we begin to die, physically!! Death is as natural to life as breathing, eating, or sleeping. This earthly body was never meant to exist, eternally!! Adam and Eve understood this. It was by this understanding that Satan convinced Eve to eat. When Eve told Satan about the covenant God had made with Adam (not Eve), “the day that you eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, that day thou shalt surely die,” Satan had found his way to Adam, it was Eve. Satan’s answer to Eve, in the original Hebrew was; “die, you are dieing already!” Eve knew she was dieing, what she had not seen WAS death!! TO KNOW SOMETHING, yet not seeing it, makes it a lot more difficult to understand!! You can tell a child “don’t touch eye on the stove when it is glowing red or it will burn you.” They hear you but sadly many times have to experience pain before they comprehend what you are telling them. Then, rationally, if you are “dieing already,” you might as well have what you want!! She ate! You have the right to ask “why, if Eve was not in covenant with God, did she turn up naked?” God’s law always works the way He says it will work, with or without you doing right or wrong!! A man or woman in illicit sexual acts WILL call into action the LAW of reproduction whether or not they have obeyed the command to marry. IGNORING GOD’S COVENANT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!! Eat of the fruit, you will know you are naked-this was a fact, not a conditional RESPONSE!!
Now that she had eaten she had advantage over Adam. She KNEW for the forbidden fruit had “opened her eyes,” (a phrase that is used over and over in the scriptures, see Ephesians 1:18), and she had knowledge Adam did not have. What was she going to do with that knowledge? What seems like a moment of time in the Biblical narrative may have been much longer. She was NOT a sinner, the covenant was not made with Eve, only Adam. When Christ came “walking in the cool of the day” God calls out to Adam, Adam answered, NOT EVE!! God said to Adam, not Eve, “who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou (not you and Eve) eaten of the tree (it would not have been a sin for Eve to have eaten!) I command thee (not Adam and Eve) that thou shouldest not eat?” Genesis 3:11 Adam was not aware of all that had transpired between Satan and Eve, Adam was responsible to God in the covenant he had with God, as was Eve!! When God told them “to multiply and replenish the earth, why did He not tell Eve, “get the rest of the story from Adam—it was NOT a story for her!! Sure, they discussed the covenant Adam had with God, but she was no more apart of that covenant than was Satan if he had eaten of the tree!! When Christ gave Moses the 10 Commandments, He called all Israel together to declare the Covenant, Exodus 19:10-25, they avowed acceptance, NO GENTILE WAS UNDER THAT COVENANT!! Should we discuss physical circumcision?
Eve would NOW get to show her leadership abilities. Eve with her superior knowledge caused Adam to DO something. What was that something she caused Adam to DO?? She GAVE Adam the fruit!! Did Adam know it was the wrong fruit? Yes, What would she do with this knowledge? Paul interjects the message of the Holy Spirit given him to help us to better understand. What she did, Paul explains. “the woman being deceived was in the transgression.” 1 Timothy 2:14 Satan had not gone after Adam (we now know why) only Eve. Eve was deceived by Satan, Adam was not! Eve tells the story; “the snake deceived me.” Paul writes : “she was ‘in the transgression,” not apart of it!! An infant can be “in the worship service and never sin by not partaking of the Lord’s Supper.” Adam blamed God for giving him Eve, Eve blamed God for making the serpent smarter than she (2 Corinthians 11:3), and the snake was forced to eat dust the rest of his existence; only Adam sinned!!
The only time woman could teach man, she did not!! An original Greek text puts it this way; “nature cannot suffer woman’s rule.” MEN ARE TO PREACH THE GOSPEL, NOT WOMEN!!

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 34

How far will sin take us? What will sin gain for us? What advantage is it to “die in sin” no matter how rewarding it may seem? Has sin ever made man who “died in sin” any greater in the eyes of this world than that that he was when born, sinless? What is the advantage for which all men should stake their soul’s destiny?? The type and anti-type explain the whole of God’s plan for man.
What DID sin change in the plan of God? Absolutely NOTHING! What change was wrought in the physical part of man of which mankind is responsible? Did man loose an arm, leg, eye, toe, or do not men possess all that the physical characteristics of Adam? Did sin change our inward physical anatomy? Does sin change our molecular structure? Was the first man (despite all the monkeys, apes, and bone parts scientist find in the earth) not exactly physically like men, today? Where is our next phase of evolution, we have been the same for 6,000 years??
Did sin change the way we were to enter into the world? Oh no!!, we have found out something in which we are not like Adam!! If there is one, maybe there is more!! Did sin cause man to desire woman or was that already commanded? Did sin cause man to be physically superior to women? Of course, the answer to all these questions is NOTHING CHANGED IN THE PLAN OF GOD!! Men and women were born of Adam and Eve before sin. They who were so born reproduced, built cities, established social order, and like Adam and Eve lived in this world before sin came. Genesis 4:14-17 Since Cain killed Abel, if Cain and Abel were the only two living species of humanity (as some would have you believe) , who would have been those Cain complained about who could have found Cain and killed him? Genesis 4:14 (By the way the third child recorded born was also a male-Seth.) From whom were the women born who lived in Nod? If you can’t find one, Cain did!! Genesis 4:17
Where did Cain’s wife come from? I can guarantee you she was not a trans-sexual!! When God created man and woman, of the two, which was first? If there was a first from whom came the second? Answer, the first!! The first then had to have been altered to be two instead of one, right? When the woman was made from man and had come from man, the first alteration in created humanity was fore-known, fore-planned, predestinated, was it not? If Eve came from Adam doesn’t that mess up the doctrine of inborn sin? Eve would have had to be the first sinner, wouldn’t she since she was born of Adam? You do agree that Eve came from Adam, don’t you? She was the first from Adam, was she not? She would have had to have been the first sinner since she was of Adam, right??
Did the whale, fowl, and all creation not begin to immediately reproduce when God commanded? Genesis 1:21-22 Note: “Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.” Adam and Eve did exactly the same thing or this would have been the first sin!! Adam and Eve obeyed!! Why all the fuss about Adam’s sin being first when Eve actually ate of the fruit, first? Was it not true that sin is sin? If the eating of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil was sin, why not blame Eve as well as Adam? If the apostle Paul by inspiration had not been so plain, would they have not made this a worse mess than they have made it? Eve was “in the transgression”, not the transgressor!! 1 Timothy 2:14
Nothing about the physical perfection called man changed when man sinned. Change had already been made!! Genesis 5:1-2 The change was Eve coming out of Adam, not Adam burdening everything from his body with sin!! Birth means to come forth from! Eve (the Church of Christ) was “taken from the side,” came forth from” the first Adam like Eve came from Adam in the operation of God. Colossians 2:11-13 That is a birth. We are “born of water and the Spirit” we come out of the water just like Eve came out of the side of Adam. It is called the “new birth”!! John 3:5, 1 John 2:29
Most think Adam was to physically to die, when he sinned, Adam didn’t!! We could never have had Eve had Adam sinned before she was created!! So Christ and the Church if Christ had not died?? Eve, the Church, could not have given birth before she was! We would not be!! How could Adam have died and later produced Cain, Abel, and Seth? If Christ had refused to die in the Garden (as some claim), Christianity would never have been!! Eve, the Church of Christ, was made FROM the side of Christ. If Christ had not died, He could not have resurrected to present His blood before His Father!!

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 33

As Adam did not know how far reaching his eating of the forbidden fruit would take him, man cannot know how far his disobedience to the laws of God will remove the shield of God’s protection over him!!. We have come to accept sin as a part of our existence, thinking it not to be as harmful as we are told. We tend to overlook the admonitions of Deity and hide our heads under the fact that somebody told us that “God is love” and would never send anyone to Hell who ever showed the slightest love for He or His Son, Jesus Christ, reasoning that IF God loved us He would not allow us to be damned for eternity!!
It makes no more sense to think that God left the determination of our eternal habitation strictly with the “newbie” just created. In-experienced, unaware of just who was their enemy, Adam and Eve were in an idealic, innocent Garden where nothing had ever impeded them. They had no natural enemies as they knew of them, for they were created in the “image” of God; they were untouchable. Led by their innocence, they would have been as blind to the restraints God would place on them as they had been the wondrous benefits He had bestowed on them. Like most people who “have it too good” who had never harmed anyone else, Adam nor Eve could have been the least questionable to motives of anything, even a snake; especially one who intended their doom and destruction. Put yourself in their shoes, who would ever have thought that a snake would be their undoing?? They had NEVER experienced the anger of God, never considered the weight He placed on His Word, nor the possibility of Him cutting off fellowship with them. Who or what had warned them of these prospects? Had this been their only chance for eternal happiness with God, it would seem rather cruel for novices as they to have been dealt “such a harsh hand.” What we will discuss in this article I hope will clear the mind of any charge anyone could bring against God!!
“It is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.” Jeremiah 10:23 When man is living his life he thinks himself at liberty to do whatever he may desire. He hears the roar of the lion at his back but pushes on to his life-goals thinking he is the master of his race. The preacher cries long and hard when no one is listening. The only Being to whom he can turn is God!! It truly is as though their work had been in vain. It remains true; “the blind lead the blind and they all shall fall in the ditch.” The brutality often incurred by the people is caused by the selfishness of their preachers. They think it is a good life every one is relatively all right and so content that they are good enough to get by, they continue on “the way that seemeth right unto a man and the end thereof are the ways of death.” Proverbs 14:13 The preachers and leaders of the people have done a great deal to enjoy the benefits of religion but practically nothing to repair it so as to keep it godly!! They have no eye to God or His Providence, therefore being blind, they make every “would be saint” a cold, calloused, brute who depends on himself and not of God!! When true calamity does come that has been whispered from their pulpits instead of being lauded from the highest housetops, the worshiper has no way to redress his grievances but to depend on himself, God has been long out of the picture. You cannot expect a people to pray when faith has been taken out of their vocabulary!! As Isaiah cried: “Israel has no one to lead her of all the sons she has brought forth.” Isaiah 51:18 God did not put us in this position we find ourselves!!
God did not tempt Adam, Eve did; God did not try Adam’s faith, Satan did through Eve. God did not put them in the position they found themselves so it is wrong to blame their situation and condemnation on God!! In fact, God had gone before them and given them a simple commandment that would have remedied their conduct had He just been listened to, but they ignored His predetermined plan!! God had to plan ahead because man was not smart enough to “watch his back.” Satan was the model hypocrite that stabbed Eve in the back (and she was worse than he) when she was not looking. God had to defend God!! Had God not enforced His Word, He would have become a “partaker of their evil deeds” by ignoring their insolence. 11 John vs 8-10 We have no right to cry, “sin is an evil that I must bear because it is the will of God.” God willed sin on no one, especially man, man chose, man sinned not God, but God had to be what His Word demanded Him to be so let us be like Job when “in all these things we find ourselves, we do not charge God, foolishly.”!!

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 32

Always anxious to defend God, we have set forth a premise that if irrefutable is the answer to in-born sin, Jesus dieing on the cross, and the answer to the questions of the ages. Adam could have done nothing to change, refute, alter, amend, or stop the plan of God from before time!!
False are the assumptions that man who is and was created, had a beginning, had not before existed could inject himself into a plan not of his own making which was in existence and was created in perfection before he was created and contend that ONE man could or might detract, improve upon, or change God’s plan, especially one that had been decided upon before anything was created!!
“But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the Law, To redeem them that were under the law , that we might receive the adoption of sons.” Galatians 4:4-5 Do you realize what had been decided, what had been planned, what had been prepared, what had to have happened, for the events mentioned in these verses to have come into existence?? The End HAD BEEN decided before the beginning came to be!! Who but God could know, mention the “mystery” before it originated?? I want to give all the credit to Adam he richly deserves, but telling me a mere mortal can alter or change what Deity had before prepared, what “eye had not seen, ear heard, neither had entered into the heart of man”!! 1 Corinthians 2:9, is beyond the bounds of reason and intelligence!!
“That in the dispensation of the fulness of times, He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth, even in Him.” Ephesians 1:10 Who had ever heard of a dispensation? What is meant by dispensation? A dispensation is the management of someone’s property. Christ was assigned the function to manage the property which did not belong to Him, it belonged to the Father! It was the Plan of all who are called God! Again, could Adam have changed this by anything he could have done?? It has to be clear that ALL things along the way to the fulfillment of the “mystery” were just a part of the plan, a means to the end. This is where so many people get confused about the Jews. They never were THE central part of God’s “mystery,” they were only a part not the whole!! Did God plan from the end to the beginning or the beginning to the end-who would know unless it was revealed? Like the Jew, Adam was just a part of the means God was to use to bring salvation to we who were the plan!!
“He came unto His own and His own received Him not. But to as many as received Him to them gave He power to become sons of God. Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:11-14 Did Adam know he was going to be the fore-runner of a type of creation to come? Did he have in hand the gravity of the situation to know he was changing the “mystery” before it could ever be revealed? Did Satan?
I am using these verses of scripture to show that without doubt or much thinking, Adam was just glad to be on the team, not the pilot who crashed the plane!! “All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28 All that pre-existed Christ on this planet was for the glory of Christ. Colossians 1:`5-18 All things that Christ did until the resurrection was so HIS Church could exist in peace with the Father. All things done by Deity was so salvation and adoption could be ours!! If it were not for the establishment of the Church of Christ Adam and Eve could not have been saved or to say it another way; if the Church was not the “mystery” God had in mind before creation, Adam and Eve would never have had a bright tomorrow!! “To make all men see what is the fellowship (joint contribution of all the parts put together) of the “mystery”which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God who created all thing by Jesus Christ. To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places (the forerunners who were in the working of the plan) might be known by the church. According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Ephesians 3: 9-11 The Church of Christ is “the fulness of Him that filleth all in all.” Ephesians 1:23 She is the purpose of Him playing the role to save!!
Adam had nothing to do with the establishment of the Church of Christ—he is now just very glad to be apart of IT!! Abraham “looked” for her, she existed, but had not yet come to this planet!!

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 31

Often questioned but never considered, the “mystery of the ages” or plan of God before time existed was set and established from the very inception. There was never a possibility that God had to alter His plan because of some UN-forseen departure from what He formulated from before the beginning. There were no “oops” nor “it might have beens” or “I wish I had not done or said this or that” with They who sat in the council of eternity. That this “mystery of the ages” was to be made known is shown completely in one of the names given Him whom we know as the Word! He is given the name of “messenger of the great council”!!
The silly question of whether God knew Adam would chose Eve over Him, or that Eve understood that because of her part in the deception of Adam she would suffer pain in child birth, or that there may have been a chance that Satan would not really be Satan is the wrong discussion. IT WAS ALL PLANNED!! Many will sing the plaintive melody that “God is not fair,” or “who could resist the plan made from eternity,” or “God cannot be serious about letting Himself be known as “Love” sending man to Hell from before his creation.” They who chant this requiem miss the whole beauty of such a “mystery kept secret from the foundations of the world.”!! What did Adam do?, should not even be questioned. Adam , Eve, Abraham , nor John the Baptist could NEVER have altered God’s plan. Man is silly thinking himself the essence of all of God’s works when he is but apart of the PLAN!!
Another very silly notion for the immature minds of the undeserving who will not study is could Christ not have died on the cross! Did He really second guess His position in Gethsemane when He cried ‘let this cup pass from Me!!?? When a plan is so-o-o perfect that nothing can or would be altered, it is too irrational to even consider an alteration to that plan!! To assume something, anything could have changed during any incident predestined as it was being played out is not to understood the Beings with whom we have to do!! It is not a matter of “could there have been,” or “what if,” or “can we just speculate” when you deal with His Majesty’s. All the inner workings of They who possesses this nature prove it is a false premise to even begin thinking They could have made a mistake!!
THE FIRST MISTAKE MADE, THEN, IS TO ASSUME THE IMPOSSIBLE!! What could Adam have had to do with anything but do what They knew He would do?? This is what is wrong, in part, with denominational ism!! Billy Graham thinks “it might be” possible to be saved WITHOUT being baptism; that some alteration to God’s plan JUST MIGHT change God’s mind ; someone JUST MIGHT be so holy and lovable to God that He or They just MIGHT alter what had been set in motion BEFORE any human being EVER EXISTED!! MIGHT BE’S ARE LIKE FAIRY TALES, they do not exist!!
Now, for the next eternal question. Where, then is choice? Since God is perfect, eternal, intending to never consult with we who can sin, only consulting with They who cannot; how could man ‘s sin be such an egregious default to God?? You have to already know that when this question is asked you already believe there is something faulty about this perfect of perfect plans. Secondly, just because choice is given within God’s dealings with man does NOT mean CHOICE could alter perfection any more than man (Adam, Eve, Daniel, or anyone else could alter perfection!! PERFECTION COULD AND WOULD NOT ALLOW THAT TO BE TRUE!! Creation with God was not a play toy. You are not thinking clearly. What about law diminishes choice? Choosing DID NOT change the plan it just changed the relationship between the one who chose and the plan, the plan stayed the same!! The problem is in the man who chooses, not the God who made the plan!! Adam did not change the plan when he sinned, he just became a sinner; the plan remained the same!! Example: I buy a car, I sign to make certain payments, I fail to make the payments on time. Did that change the contract, or did it just change my definition within the contract?
Before there was man there was redemption. Adam did not change God’s way, grace, plan to redeem mankind. Christ was going to die whether Adam sinned. Or did NOT sin. Redemption was not Adam. Adam just happened to be the first man who needed redeeming. What did Adam do then to the change the plan?—NOTHING, the plan was perfect BEFORE AND AFTER Adam sinned!!
Before there was sin there was a Savior, salvation, the Church of Christ-sin altered none of these!!

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 30

Maybe all along we should have been asking ourselves the question: “what did Adam lose for us that at one time was apart of the humanity? Alongside this question, what did woman gain because Eve “was in the transgression”? Finally, where did Satan wind up trying to be smarter than God??
Man was made “in the image of God.” It is not even debated that man was not made physically in the image of God. Yet, man was the representative, shadow, likeness, of God. In what manner did this occur? Man was given the “likeness” of God at the start. As man was the highest of the high, among the creations of God, UNTIL Adam sinned. Since the coming of Christ, Christians are said to have a renewed image, and again be “in the likeness of God” (morally, intellect, skill), so man can so live to be “with God.” Unless we understand what this “image” means, we will never comprehend what the “likeness” must become. As the physical representative of God on the earth, man was THE power who could command all things, even angels? In what “pecking order” was man made? Do not all animals still fear mankind, all angels still are his servants? The apostle Paul writes that the “new man,” a creation by the same God, must be renewed in this likeness. Colossians 3:10; Ephesians 4:23-24 As to the “express image” which is applied to Christ, only, it teaches us that Christ was the same likeness, kind, being, or that He was God in a human body. Christ is the only being to be said to be in the express“image” of God. Hebrews 1:3. A like reproduction in every aspect of His being. (Compared to a graving tool that makes an exact mark, reproduction, symbol, the same in every respect.) Thayer, considered one of the greatest Greek scholars of all time, says this word charaktar (Greek word) represents something so exact, so much the same, it could be the engraving tool that made the mark instead of the mark, itself!! The character or expression of God that Paul expresses is the hypo-stasis (substance) of God. This hypo-stasis is essential to Christ; so that the likeness of the original becomes manifest, and is the perfect facsimile. It is like the sealing of a document by a king, it had to be so exact in every detail or the recipient would never know from whom it had origin!! Christ was and is the splendor of eternal light and the unsullied mirror of the energy of God, and the image of His goodness!! Christ had inherent splendor and exhibited splendor by definition of this word.. This is the Holy Spirit’s claim for the deity of Christ. He that denies this fact is said to be a “fool”! Psalms 14:1
Man, made in the image of God was made with the power, might, control, and glory of God. Paul paints this picture for us in 1 Corinthians 11:7 where he deals with man and woman. With this power and might Adam was over all animals as God would be; all would be subject to his command as they would be to God’s commands. Plants would grow at his command, all creation would be at his beck and call. Man was in a paradise with the power and might of God with the option to chose who he would serve and made the wrong choice!! Expelled from the first paradise, man would have no way back to this inconceivably beautiful place until invited and Christ, extended on Calvary’s tree: “Today, thou shalt be with me in Paradise.” Jesus claimed He is the Way back, and that NO MAN could come back to the Father, BUT BY HIM”!! John 14:6 Christ will make it possible for us to get to Heaven!! Man lost this image by sin (we can all now thank Satan for this, yea, go ahead and do what he wants you to do ) but “in Christ” we can have it back in the new creation, His spiritual world called the Church of Christ in which we can have “the Father and Christ who will come unto us and make their abode with us” (we all can thank God, the Father through Christ for this, Christ had to BUY our way out of this mess. We are the they who are ransomed)!! John 14:23; Acts 20:28; Matthew 20:28
We finally have found out what Adam cost us!!, but did he cost us?? If this is a cost I will gladly pay the debt for the value received!! Left here with the world at our feet is no way comparable to what is waiting the ransomed who remain faithful unto death!!! What is it to “gain to whole world and lose your soul; or what would a man give in exchange for his soul?” Matthew 16:26; Mark 8:37 Oh! What a plan, the mystery from the foundations of the world !! No wonder “eye hath not seen, ear hath not heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man what God had in store for them that love Him!! 1 Corinthians 2:9 There are a few who “know in whom they have believed and are persuaded that He will be able to keep that which we have committed unto Him against that day.” 2 Timothy 1:12.

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 28

There are many issues which underscore the created being called Satan. It is not told as to the purpose Satan was so evil, what is related is that he was and is. One thing is for certain, he never gives up!! The defining characteristic defining him is that he never gives up! And his lack of compassion is inhuman. The only thing that explains his children is the same-they care more for themselves than anyone else, even the children they bring into this world. Selfishness is rebellion to what is right and selfishness is as witchcraft! Sadly, all those overcome by Satan think themselves their own “director of operations” in their lives. They think THEY call all the shots and make all the decisions when in fact, even in this, they are blind-sided! “O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.” Jeremiah 10:23 It is told that all the angels gathered in Hell to find a way to stop mankind from believing in Christ. There were many who had ideas which Satan listened and entertained. All were pretty much on equal footing until one little demon in the crowd from the darkest part of Hell offered the winning idea. His plan was simple: “tell them what they want to do is perfectly fine and that they are to believe that God really doesn’t care as long as mankind will just love Him.” On this suggestion Satan has built his world-wide efforts to stop the Church of Christ from saving millions of men, women, and accountable children, and he does not care one whit about any one of them knowing where it will take them!!
A couple of weeks ago, I finished that article by stating Satan was his own worst enemy, he actually out smarted himself. Satan as a created archangel was not evil when created by Christ, that would bring a charge against God and cause the statement “He saw everything was good and very good,” false. Satan at the time of his creation was good as God said he was! Oh! the difference one sin can make in a life and we never know which sin it will be!! Those who try to make a living on controlling everybody else and not tend to their own business are impossible to live around. Assigned a function by Jesus Christ (the creator of this world and all other worlds), Satan superintends the care taking of this planet (God has even set angels as superintendents over nations). Satan has never abrogated this role nor has he made mistakes in doing that which Christ appointed him!! (Global warming is not a malfunction in the creation and sustaining of what God made, it is a lie from Hell that politicians who want to steal more money from taxpayers are telling!!
God is a personnel God, who is presented as even knowing the number of hairs on our heads, Matthew 10:30. and Peter tells us that it matters to Him about mankind. 1 Peter 5:7 There’s something personal, too, in the concept of men’s names being written in Heaven. Luke 10:17-22 Jesus is not a created being, but instead in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead, bodily (John 1:1; Philippians 2:6 ; Colossians 1:16; Hebrews 1:2 indicate Jesus Himself did the creating. He did not turn it over to the Devil as many eastern religions teach!! The Bible holds out the hope of resurrection, not reincarnation. Reincarnation denies the personality of God (that God is one but are three individual Beings) They teach there is only one God. If this were true who can explain God appearing in three forms at one time as at the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptizer if He were only ONE Being!!); it has a perverted doctrine of sin (denying that Jesus “has by one sacrifice forever perfected them that are sanctified,” Hebrews 10:14); and it denies the record of the New Testament which has John the Baptist and Jesus alive at the same time (reincarnationists teach that John and Jesus were actually the same person who before he was John the Baptizer, he was Elijah, and before he was Elijah, he was Moses). How could that be if John baptized Jesus, if Jesus, Elijah, and Moses were all together on the Mount of Transfiguration; that would mean they were present at the same time and same place??
Why did Satan change? The answer is never answered. What advantage did he see if resisting God? The same as any sinner does today. Where did his rebellion take him? Like any sinner today, to the final desolation and destruction of a place of eternal misery and pain. And what did his rebellion cost all those whom he influenced? Because they had the right of choice as he, the same end!!
Whatever Satan’s aims and goals were are not known, but what is known is that nothing, no power present or to come, nor has ever been can defeat the determination of God for those whom He loves.

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 27

Did Adam have within his gene pool the ability to change the nature of man? Was it the nature of man to sin? If man sinned AFTER his creation, did he have the propensity to pass this change in nature to his children? It only takes ONE person to have never sinned to prove it is not our nature!
Can we alter the nature with which he was born? It is not believed by anyone I have known or read from that Adam or Eve were created sinners, they did not alter their nature when they sinned. It has been successfully shown that the man is the same as he was with Adam. ONLY physically somewhat, not spiritually. Adam nor Eve never had ANYHING to do with the spiritual part of mankind. As has been shown, sin did not begin with Adam or Eve, it began with Satan, an arch-angel of the Earth who was set in power over the other Seraphims (of the earth) Angels whose function was to superintend and sustain the creation of Jesus Christ. It has to be pointed out here that Satan had nothing to do with the perfection of creation, the plants or animals, or the moons and tides, whatsoever!! When pure nature is discussed, Satan not Adam ever had any way to change in any respect what Christ created!! If he or they did, please let me know who or what they were. As Satan, not Adam or Eve, had nothing to do with changing nature (creatures), neither did Divinity have anything to do with changing the physical composition of man!! No, man did not evolve from some lower primate, crossing species lines to become something altogether different than what their ancestry had been.
The Holy Spirit had a function to make the earth habitable for man whom Christ had set over this world giving man God’s image, power, control that no other creature has ever again possessed. The Spirit did not alter the spiritual composition Christ began nor has there EVER been a human being that was not made up of soul and spirit as was fashioned by the Creator!!
Man, today, is trying to create his own new type of creature by cloning. It will be new, if they can get it done, because it will not have the soul and spirit as a part of the what ever they want to call it!! Can you imagine a soul-less or spirit-less what ever they want to call it out roaming around? There is no law of pro-creation man will be following so they will not have the cooperation of Deity at its origin. We keep looking for the “missing link” and it keeps on cooperating—it keeps missing!! The monkey to man game has been played too many innings to even be entertaining!! NOTHING has changed from the original, all is the same.
We can not alter nature. We can re-arrange, re-vise, destroy but not alter what is natural. Man has NEVER sinned following nature. Man has NEVER passed any law or tried to educate any changing unwritten natural laws like eating, sleeping, breathing air, drinking fluids, or blinking his eye lid when dust gets in it. Sin is an alteration in the existence of man but it is not something that is NATURAL with man!! We do NOT know how long Satan stayed after Eve BEFORE he broke down her resistance and gave Adam the fruit. One thing we do know, though. IT WAS NOT NATURAL FOR HER TO DISOBEY GOD!! A propensity she may have had, but it was not natural. Hollywood, Satan’s bride has made big inroads but as of yet not altered nature. Sin is NOT NATURAL, all who sin have to ACQUIRE, COMMIT, VIOLATE A LAW to sin. All Eve accomplished was show Satan to our front door, from there he got in himself. Sin comes through a defection in moral purpose. The mind has to be changed, the will broken down, and the deterrent made to look insignificant. This is exactly what Satan does every time he gets us to obey him. Our first parents marked out the same path that has been trodden every time sin is committed. Every time the path is followed, the creature gets weaker, easier to control. Each generation has to be re-built to become a “new creature ‘in Christ” or that generation succeeds to get worse than the last! “God saw that the thoughts of man’s heart was evil continuously..” and He destroyed man so something would be left for Christ to save!! Genesis 6:3 Man is definitely inclined to evil and we must perpetually counteract its influence with vigorous exertion or sin will overtake our species, again. This time God will destroy sin by fire!! The only deterrent is the blood of Christ!! This MUST be instilled in the hearts of our children. Sin cannot become a joke, a habit, acceptable, or “not as bad as you think” Christ blood is met in baptism!! Acts 2:38. 22:16; 1 Peter 3:21 Christ is the only help in the last 5,000 years, better not pass Him up!!
