What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 48

To be taught that “perfection would create imperfection” is the final argument in this series. God did not make a mistake in purpose, judgment, or wisdom! For someone to teach He did is to align themselves with atheism! Inborn sin is such an alignment. All things that pertain to Deity describe perfection is its most valid description. Help me find out in the following discussion just where God made a mistake in wisdom, purpose, or creation!
God put the Garden in Eden, it did not grow there by luck, its rivers and beauty just did not come about, or was not beautiful beyond description by mistake! God made Adam as Adam and Eve so when He operated on Adam all men would understand He would have had a purpose in making Adam this way. Eve was not a mistake in God’s judgment!! Adam and Eve were commanded to “multiply and replenish the earth” long before Eve, who was seduced by Satan, seduced Adam; and he ate. Child birth did not come about 9 months after Adam ate the forbidden fruit!! Eve would have had no way to understand the change announced in childbirth if it had not before Adam’s sin been different. Childbirth is no course change made because of an opps!! It was no mistake that the forbidden fruit was beautiful, looked delicious, and met the requirements for “making one as wise as God,” instead of hideous looking, smelly, and startling to behold. God made the fruit before He made Adam, before Adam became Adam and Eve, made it to satisfy the requirement Satan dramatized to Eve! Have we found something done accidental, yet? Choice was not a mistake, God was not looking for a challenge when Adam ate the fruit, He had, before the creation of the world married Christ to His Church, perfected the plan of salvation, which includes the new birth patterned after physical childbirth as a means of bring Christ into the world to save mankind!! We could go on and on but nothing made by perfection has the least hint of surprise, course change, or God being caught off guard!!
And NO, no man or woman was MADE against their will, desire, or intelligence to be a ploy for God—that is Satan’s trick–when God’s wisdom is so much superior to man’s intelligence, mand can not be expected to comprehend what God was doing until man could be developed to comprehend God’s “mystery”!! Everything happened exactly as God in His wisdom planned it!! Eve, remember was the one who worked on Adam, not God! The first sacrifice was not a mistake, it was “according to plan.” God killed something that was alive to clothe Adam and Eve, leaves (something of or from the earth) were shown never enough for God, the Father. The pattern was set, immediately. That sacrifice of the innocent for the guilty was the process of salvation showing Christ WOULD (again, by His choice) DIE so His blood, being fore pictured in the sacrifice, would be the ONLY thing that could COVER man’s sin! Have we found yet where Satan “pulled the wool over God’s eyes or bested our Maker”?? Inborn sin is man’s given explanation which makes God equal to man. For man made religion creeds and catechisms, teach their aspirants–God too can make mistakes!! This is their doctrine(s), they all teach it. Sure, opportunity abounded in every incident to change what actually took place. God NEVER staged these incidents to take place. Just because God’s wisdom and intelligence is so much more advanced than man’s, man freely acting in concert to what God beforehand KNEW, does not make God the author of man’s sin!! Man is just not smart enough to catch on without God getting on the level (as far as God’s intelligence is concerned, Isaiah 45:8) of a moron to explain to man what and how man violated the most precious of confidences. Yes, and at the moment man sinned, God could announce the solution to man’s problem that would happen some 5,000 years (years had not even happened, yet) beyond this most horrible incident!!
Some quote Jeremiah 32:35; “I commanded them not, neither came it into My mind…” as proof that God did not KNOW all things. There are some things God, I am sure, does not understand. One, is why you question Him, He has never been wrong. His prophecies all come to pass EXACTLY as He had recorded. When your Mind and Wisdom is so far greater than they with whom you deal, so that God in His PLAN has the solution to such hideousness that His mind would not, NOT could not comprehend, because His mind does not go to such depths, and still amply covers the depths of man’s depravity, how can you question what He knows or does not know??

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 47

It is because of ignorance concerning what the nature of those called God entails, for man to entertain the false notion called “inborn sin.” For any to think one man or millions of men could have changed the plan “from before the beginning of all things!!” demands man humanizing God. And man-made religion is intent on trying to make God the same as man. For man does not know the end from the beginning. nor are any of our plans without flaw. Acts 15:18;Romans 3:3 We diminish the greatness and overlook the purpose for the origin of our species by not realizing the great God who made us had a plan BEFORE anything began. It is man who goes to war before “counting the cost”! Luke 14:28 One true text is not often realized: “from the beginning it was not so!” Matthew 19:8
When God/Christ created man, He was not running a scientific experiment, He was not practicing, nor was He playing out a hunch. There was no gaming in His creation nor trial and error! What He began He intended to complete!! Christ did not just HOPE He could best Satan, He that created Satan knew what Satan did not nor could not know. This tenant of atheism was never considered or entertained as possible until man began to humanize they who bore the nature called God!! You see, God cannot fail, He cannot not know, He cannot even consider failure. The realization of this truth is a “game changer” while the assumption of the opposite supposition allows one “ever to learn but never to NEVER arrive at the knowledge of the truth.” 2 Timothy 3:7 God committed Christ to die before there was death, knew Christ would be virgin born of Mary before there was woman, planned Calvary before there were trees, perfected His plan of procreation before there was creation, thoroughly completed His “mystery” before there was a planet, confirmed the plan of salvation before there was sin, and married the Church of Christ before there was humanity-nothing was or is a surprise, nothing caused Him to change His plan in the middle of the stream, and no one that was mortal could change the Immortals!! The very premise of inborn sin denies the deity of God demanding Him human!!
Denominationalism is happy with “inborn sin” because man could not conceive of immortality. Man’s length of existence denies him the very concept of endlessness. With man, even under controlled circumstances, cannot bring to perfection a plan. More especially, allowing those who are involved, choice!! Man could not conceive of Law, is is opposite his nature; all man knows is desire, and that someone other than man has to fulfill it!! Concepts so far beyond our abilities could NEVER consider with our abilities that we could alter, stop, or amend They who had no possibility of sin!! Man had to even be taught that there was such a thing as sin, that it would separate man from God, and that it is apart of our nature, only. When MAN taught his principles, some atheist devised a Law from the study of God’s inferior species. Which species, created by God needs NO punishment (another interesting concept) to help them do what is best for their species? God is too far and wonderful and so beyond our species that man who tired of finding Him among his own was revealed His Will and majesty-then translated into written and verbal institutions devised by the God who created man so man could hopefully please Him!! Not only did God plead with man through the offices of prophets of old time, He finally had to remember man whom He had created, by sending one of His nature to die so He could establish justice! Romans 3:25 So, God declared sin, then had to reveal a Law to define sin, and man, whom He had created, denied God’s discipline writing creeds and manuals to govern themselves, these showing man a copy cat, instead of a creator!! Finally, man is his eloquence and blithering wisdom devised false theories, calling one of them evolution, which further insulted the magnificence of a mind man could not enjoy, only fear. Isaiah 45:7-8
Creation, then was not the undoing of God’s Will, it is the expression of the same! Man, who was but one part of this great scheme called creation, could never be expected to alter nor eradicate this work of perfection. Adam would never be thought or considered to have changed, challenged, or derailed the work God, who performed this act of creation without the consent of the created, demanded without conscience (another interesting concept not devised by man). Creation is the work of another type of species. This Being, gave us what is called life (not yet understood). Man neither devised, created, nor consented to life. Man strives, only at his best, to obey this “mystery.” !!

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 46

Seeing Adam had a specific covenant with Christ in the Garden of Eden of which Eve was not included as a participant, we understand the way in which Jesus intended the words in John 12:47-50: “And if any man hear My words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejects Me, and receives not My word has One that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him at the last day.” It is evident that Christ will be a “judge of the quick and the dead” but there will another judge of the unrighteous dead, God the Father. The unrighteous are not under covenant with Christ!! Christ is NOT their high priest!!
How was this brought about, you ask? Adam and Eve were judged by different standards in the Garden of Eden, I answer. Eve was judged by the law of the conscience given all mankind, Adam by the law of the conscience AND the specific law not to eat the forbidden fruit, the fruit of the tree of good and evil. Eve participated in helping Satan cause Adam to violate his covenant with Christ and for that she was made to have pain and anguish in child bearing (from the language of the text we learn that Eve had already borne children, but with no pain). Adam fell short of the “glory” Christ expected him to measure up to (Romans 3:23), AND violated the law of the conscience of which Eve was held accountable. By abusing the law of the conscience, Adam had to “earn his food by the sweat of his brow” (of course, no one thinks this was the first time Adam had eaten) and for the violation of the covenant specific to him, made with him by Christ-not eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, Adam put himself in a position Eve had not put herself, Adam had sinned. If it be asked if there were two sinners in the Garden of Eden, the answer would be NO! Again, inspiration tells us: “the woman being deceived was in the transgression.” 1 Timothy 2:14
Many from lack of watching the language refer to 2 Corinthians 5:10 which reads: “For we must all stand before the judgment seat of Christ: that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he has done, whether it be good or bad.” The ones standing before the tribunal of Christ are the “children of the kingdom.” There is NO WAY Christ can judge those who are not apart of the Kingdom! Paul writes: “For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? Do not you judge them that within? But them that are without God judges (not Christ). Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.” 1 Corinthians 5:10-11
Farmer Cain was NOT under the same law as was his father Adam. Cain was told to sacrifice a lamb. Adam was NOT. Cain chose, instead, to offer the fruit of the ground. Cain did not understand the purpose for the type offering God demanded. Because his twin brother obeyed (believed) the voice of Christ and offered the lamb, Cain “rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.” Genesis 4:7 Did Adam ever offer the wrong sacrifice? It is not written that Adam EVER offered a sacrifice at all. Why you might ask? Adam’s covenant with Christ DID NOT include the offering of sacrifices (or if it did it is no where stated). Cain’s offering did not picture the coming death of Christ as did Abel’s sacrifice. “Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fallen.” Genesis 4:6 Christ tried to reason with Cain; “why are you so immediately out of sorts?” “You have NO REASON to react so violently, it is not Abel who made the Law or compact, it is God-why are you mad at Abel?” Cain ought to have been rejoicing- God had set before Cain the way of life, not some penalty for Adam’s sin, the rules were just and equitable to each man. Cain had not YET sinned, Abel never sinned! God only denies His favor to those who reject His Laws!! God fore-knew Cain’s rebellion and anger, came to his side and pleaded with him: “before you offer” repent of your childish pouting and follow the tenants given you.” Because Cain rejected God’s plea, sin was at the door-chargeable to Cain. So high a charge would have not been laid at Cain’s feet IF Christ had no respect to His commands. Man cannot chose which or if any Laws from God they might want to nor not want to obey. Jeremiah wrote: Thus saith the Lord; “if you can break My covenant of the day, and My covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season: Then may also My covenant be broken with David My servant, ‘that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, My ministers…and cast away the seed of Jacob and David My servant.” Jeremiah 33:20-26

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 45

Knowing the origin of sin was Satan, that all angels (spirit beings with no human bodies) are masculine in gender, and that Christ always “pleased the Father” be it before, during, or after creation and that Eve was the second generation creation; just what was Eve’s part in the sin of Adam, 2 Timothy 2:12-15? Always keep in mind that with God there were NO SURPRISES!! What we see in the creation account was all apart of a carefully laid part of the “mystery of the ages.” God NEVER REACTS, HE ALWAYS ACTS, all was planned even allowing man to use free will!!
Did woman in general EVER have a specific covenant/command with God before Christ instituted His New Testament?? (By spiritual, I mean to have a covenant that bound the soul and spirit to obedience). I know there were specific women who had a specific, individual covenants with God like Eve, Sarah, Lot’s wife, Rebecca, and Mary, the Lord’s mother; but was woman EVER allowed spiritual communion with God before Christ or did that have to wait until Christ?? It had to wait on Christ!! When woman obeyed, it was through man that she obeyed, not directly to God!! “And God blessed them (Adam and Eve), saying, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish (male’- to fill) the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion (Adam and Eve) over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.” Genesis 1:28 {Do men and women, today, have dominion over every living thing? Absolutely, not; don’t try and take on a Lion, Cheetah, or a Whale!} God gave to Adam and Eve the command to pro-generate, Eve was created so Adam would have the means to accomplish this “mystery”, but BOTH were commanded, but again, without Adam, Eve could never have fulfilled this command!! Eve was the ONLY woman ever to receive the command to multiply and replenish (just like Sarah, Rebecca, and Mary, the Lord’s mother had specific commands.) With the way men and women are acting today, one might think they think they are under this command. They have no hesitancy about having sex with every man or woman that is “interested in them and brag about it.”
This brings up an interesting question, did the Patriarchs or High Priest offer animal sacrifices for women or just for those who had a sealed covenant with God? Was salvation offered in any covenant previous to Christ? Was the woman’s soul inferior to man’s or did they ALL have to wait the death of Christ? Did the Jewish High priest offer sacrifices for the Gentiles? No!! The Patriarchal offerings were so much superior to the Jewish. The Patriarch offered “looking forward” to the blood of Christ being shed while the Jewish offered “looking back” on sins still against themselves!! In Egypt, during the passover, the father had to put the blood of the slain Lamb on the post or lintel of their OWN house!! (It seems like fathers have forgotten this, today. Unfortunately for their children, they expect someone else to teach their children, religion!!) If the High Priest of Israel offered ONLY for those born of Jewish mothers, circumcised the eighth day who kept the laws and commandments given them, who offered for women?? Answer, no one. Did woman sin? Surely, for “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 How did they sin, you might ask? They were human, and all human beings had the “law of the conscience.” Romans 2:14 Well, who offered sacrifices for them? No one. Do you still think this was all just a mistake? Did God change things, reacting not acting or were they PLANNED? “Known unto God are all His works from the beginning of the world.” Acts 15:18 Who offered for woman? Christ! 1 Timothy 2:15 tells us: “Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.” It took 62 generations of women to bring Christ into the world. Paul relates in Revelation 12:1 “And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun (the brightest light of all time-the Christ was being birthed by a woman, Romans 5:2), and the moon (the lesser light would have been the Mosaic Law) under (the covenant of Christ was far superior to the law of Moses) her feet and upon her head a crown (the stephanos-a crown of royalty 2 Timothy 4:8), of twelve (number of the chosen apostles) stars (the source of the given light). And she being with child cried travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.”Revelation 12:1-2 Christ was born and salvation has “appeared unto all men.” His blood flowed backward to Eden and forward to the end of time!! Thank God for His great “mystery’!!

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 44

What did the sin of Adam do to effect the body made FOR him? Did Christ abandon the first body Adam was placed in to form a new body? Was the body altered in kind and content? In what manner was the body changed by sin? Did the first created man have two eyes, ears, legs, arms, and feet BEFORE he sinned? What can sin do immediately to change the body? Are the laws of life not rooted in origin and finality? What did Adam’s sin do to change these laws?
Eve DID NOT commit the same sin as did Adam, she was in the transgression but not the transgressor! 1 Timothy 2:13-15 She was not under a spiritual covenant to God. There are physical and spiritual covenants made with God, what was the spiritual covenant made with Eve? What covenant had Eve made with God? Did women worship God as equals before the New Testament Covenant came into being? It was not possible for women ever to have entered the holy place or most holy place as worshipers, was it? Were women allowed into the Temple even as worshipers? Were there ever priest who were women before the Covenant of Christ? Until one is covenanted in a spiritual covenant, it is impossible to break that covenant-right? When sins were rolled ahead under the Covenant of Moses, were all men and women involved in the “rolling ahead,” did that change their bodies? When children were born under the previous Covenants of God, which parent was responsible for “bringing them up in the “nurture and admonition of the Lord”? What Adam and Eve participated in to have children did not change after they covenanted with each other before God. As is shown today, children can be produced without the sanctity of marriage!! Since Eve was in no way under a spiritual covenant relationship with God, the soul and spirit was not involved, there then would have been NOTHING she could have done to effect the souls of those that were delivered through her body! As a vehicle of deliverance, Paul teaches us “woman would be (would be infers a change of purpose) saved in childbearing.” Had not children been born from her body, the savior of man would not have had the channel to come into this world, neither man nor woman could have then been saved! When Eve first bore children to Adam it was not for the purpose of bringing Christ into the world, she was not under covenant to Adam (they were not married), she was under covenant to Christ to “multiply and replenish the earth.” There is NO religion, today, that I know of, that treats men and women as equals other than the “faith once delivered to the saints.”Jude verse 3
If Adam’s body did not change, Eve’s covenant was not spiritual, how could they have individually or severally changed the soul and spirit of man over which they had not kind, origin, or control?? (All things were and are made after their kind.) Why, then, does ever denomination teach this doctrine? Join me in saying: because they believe not the gospel of Christ!! Consider for a moment if there had NEVER been a sin Adam committed, would thee have been child birth? Marriage would have never come about. Why call these laws of society, spiritual laws?? I am trying to force you to see there laws that are spiritual and laws that are physical. There are physical laws that can function even though the spiritual laws are ignored. Since humanity was at one moment of time without spiritual laws and God chose to make these laws with the male gender of mankind, what could Eve have ever done to affect the spiritual constitution of Adam’s species?? Since it was not his body through which the off-spring came, man could not even change (Caucasoid, negroid, mongoloid) the races of his nature, he could not change the languages they spoke, the original bounds of their habitation!
There then seems not to be a contradiction that only we who are spiritually alive will be quickened with a spiritual body at the resurrection. The spirit never dies, it is alive, it is from God, and awaits its release! “But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:11 “For int his we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven.” 2 Corinthians 5:2 We are given the Spirit when baptized into Christ (Acts 2:38), walk in Spirit living the Christian life (Romans 8:11), strengthened with might by the Spirit, (2 Corinthians 4:16; Ephesians 3:16). He leads and directs through His Word, and are made a habitation of the God by the Spirit ( Ephesians 2:19-22). “Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed”? Acts 19:1-5

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 43

Is the body capable of death, made to die, or destined to die? Did sin change the fact that the body was to die or did it change the manner in which man would die? Is birth not the same-are not all men born? There is a time to be born Scripture teaches and there then is time to die. Ecclesiastes 3:2 Is this time appointed, known beforehand, determined? Is the soul which is not fathered by man capable of death, made to die, or destined to die? Or is it born DEAD ALREADY? Would that not have to be the case if man is born a sinner-he is born dead to the fellowship and love of an eternal God from inception!! Why would God create something that is already separated from Him? Does the body in death cease to be, go back into that from which it came, or made to cease as it was made to become? Did the soul/spirit of man begin to be or was and is that part of man, immortal? Explaining this to Nicodemus, Jesus said we could not “go back into the mother’s womb” but would have to be “BORN AGAIN.” Is the physical body “born again” at the resurrection or has the “CHANGE” ALREADY OCCURRED? Did not the Old Testament prophesy that Jesus would “change this planet as a man changes his vesture and although the earth would wax old, the God who made it was changeless?” Was Job’s probing question not ask: “If a man die, shall he live? All the days of my appointed time will I wait till my CHANGE (the Hebrew is like to change the type of garment) come. Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: Thou wilt have a desire to the work of Thine hands. For now Thou numberest my steps; dost Thou not watch over my sin? Job 14:14-16; 1 Corinthians 15:51 In the analogy of a tree, if a tree is cut down there might perchance be a twig sprout but not so of man. Animal life, in some insects and fowls, many revive; but the majesty of the soul, when once retired is too great and too wonderful a thing to be revived but by the work of His creator.. Man has no prospect for the Sun to enliven him nor the rain to nourish him back to life, before birth he begins to waste away, dieing daily. In death; he gives up the ghost; the soul leaves the body, and returns to the Father of Spirits from whence it came!! Where is he? He is not where he was, his friends know him no more in this life, but is he nowhere? Man has gone to the world of spirits, gone into eternity, gone to NOT return to this Earth, no more!! Again, we ask of the soul-will the soul cease to be? Can God cease to be? God is soul and spirit, if our spirit and soul cease to be, cannot His? Are we not like the Father of Spirits? Can the soul go back to the fellowship of God in sin (John 8:24), or is it destined to absence from the presence of His glory because of sin? Will that be in his human body that cannot decay?? Did God create the Earth to last eternally? Is there a part of man that is from the heavens that is of His KIND that can never die? Sin might have changed the manner of death we die as it did the birth pangs of a woman, but did it change the fact we were “born to die”??
In the Roman letter the apostle Paul discusses these questions with great care and in the eighth chapter and verse 10 Paul writes; “if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.” We are to “mortify the deeds of the body and live”, verse 13, and writing to the Colossians 3:5 Paul says: “Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth…” When one mortifies something they take from it it’s power, destroy it’s strength, put it to death. If we do not separate ourselves from sin, we cannot live with God. Romans 6:1
In Christ the body that sinned cannot live eternally, it has to be replaced with a body that is spiritual. Because we are made the righteousness of God, Philippians 3:9, because of our obedience to His commands we are not like the Jew who thought his works qualified him for peace with God. We have known “the way of righteousness.” 2 Peter 2:21; 1 John 2:29, 3:7; Revelation 19:8 It is not what WE have done, it is in faith for what HE did. Titus 3:5 When Christ commands “belief and baptism,” Mark 16:16, we obey, trusting Him, not ourselves!! The Jews couldn’t get past themselves, like their partners in denominationalism today, they had to feel, get, pray-they had to come to the mourners bench, get Jesus to agree they are saved—they depend on themselves NOT on the blood of the only begotten Son!! When the gospel is preached, it is the Son that is preached: His death, burial, and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:1-3) showing it is the work of Christ- HIS BLOOD WE PLEAD!! IF Abraham could not use Isaac as the sacrifice, God’s Son would!! Plead His blood!!

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 42

Having covered all the arguments that I am aware of that have been used against the preciousness of God’s loving nature, the world has conjured up/thinks God abandoned man in the Garden and left him to an open shame without recourse against a maligned enemy with power beyond our abilities to comprehend and that the whole race of man is therefore condemned but a God-appointed elect!! Did God have this purpose in creating man or did He “enter a battle without counting the cost to see if He had sufficient to finish the tower.” Luke 14:28 From a search of the mind of God, we have collected enough evidence to prove He knew the “end from the beginning.” Acts 15:18 If man’s suspicions concerning the kind nature of our great Benefactor, cannot believe something SO great cannot be true, God has never doubted Himself. The assumption that God would not have worked out all the fine details for our “glory to come” before He created and leave us in a cesspool of sin at the very beginning of His dealings with mankind, shows how deficient we have been in appreciation for what He has done for the “chosen in Christ from the foundation of the world that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.”!! Ephesians 1:4
We started our discussion with the question that still waits before us, What did Adam, do? We took their premise and proved there was nothing he could have done that would have involved the soul and spirit of his offspring, that his part in the mystery of God was to provide a tabernacle in which the creation of God could grow and flourish and that the part Adam provided was even in the Garden in a process of transmutation that sin interrupted!! Did God give up on the idea of man spending eternity with Him for ceaseless ages? If not, to include eternal damnation from the beginning is foolish!! What God DID do was to keep secret the “mystery” which would forever establish the unity of His purpose and the glory “that awaits”!!
If the body was trans-mutating from the beginning should that not show the seeker of truth the beauty a glimpse not comprehended by the eternal pessimist? But they taught their disciples that death was never a part of the plan of God, it was a change of course brought about because Eve got Adam to SIN!! Do you mean to tell truth-seekers that God DID NOT know Adam would sin BEFORE He created Adam? Do you really believe that Adam’s sin was a “game changer”?? If this be true, God could not plan any better than His creation, could He?? This “shot from the sidelines” preached by denominationalism changed the way man would look at death, the plan of God, and his own immortality. God “foreknew, foreordained, and predetermined,” Romans 8, Ephesians 1, why could God not have “made provision” for the weakness of mankind, known as sin, before and included in His LOVE FOR HIS CREATION from the beginning?? would that not make a lot more sense?? Was death the “mystery” or was the plan of God the “mystery” not known to Adam and Eve? Did not Satan not say to Eve, “dieing, you are dieing already.” I agree that sin made the experience of death different as it also made the birthing of mankind, but dieing was not a secret-they were trans-mutating!! God said to God: “Behold, the man is become as one of us….so He drove out the man: and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.” Genesis 3:22-24
Man has Two Fathers, one physical, the other spiritual. “Furthermore, we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us (this is from Adam), and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits (this is Christ, the creator of all spirits and souls, Ezekiel 18:1-4) and live?” Hebrews 12:9 Our human parents are the fathers of our flesh, our souls DID NOT come from their bodies!! Dust does not produce souls!! God challenges the Jew with this question in Ezekiel. What God does with the souls of the fathers and sons is not the business of any man. None can say to Him, “what doest Thou?” He that gave us our being does us no wrong if He takes it away from us!! It is impractical to argue with the Maker, “why hast Thou made me thus”? Wisdom declares: “my soul is Thine, take my heart, it is Thine, make it as Thou wilt!” Since the eternal comes from the “spiritual Father,” not the physical, blaming Adam for our sin is foolishness!! Knowing he showed Satan the way into our soul/spirit does not mean Adam made us sinners, we did that to ourselves!!

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 41

Paul keeps talking about ONE, yet we have not considered who the ONE was. Sin had power to bring death and condemnation; but grace did not do away with one sin, only, but all that followed after. The measure of the blessing through Christ was never equal to the damnation of the sin committed by Adam. After the numberless sins were committed after Paradise, the measure of blessing and condemnation was not equal. Where righteousness is there follows life and blessings. Forgiveness of sin was not the only thing bought by the blood of Jesus Christ. Righteousness is MORE than life, it is the root of eternal life!! Before, when he said that “one man’s sins slew all, much more will the grace of one have the power to save,” Paul was showing how death was torn up by its roots, for sin was not torn up by its roots only, but righteousness was given!! Christ did not merely do the same amount of good as Adam evil, but far more and better good.
Paul writes “For if by one man’s sin death reigned by one, then the gift of the One who brought righteousness shall reign in life by one man Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:17 This righteousness was out of proportion to the sin committed. In the original he writes not righteousness wrought by the grace of God, but super abundance of grace. Christ did not do away with sin, only, but added such blessings and promises that to compare these would be a travesty and a tremendous error of judgment!! Man was at once forgiven of sin by the blood of Christ, we were “born again,” John 3:5, and risen again with the old man buried. We are adopted, justified, sanctified, and made brothers and rightful heirs to the King of Kings, having been counted as “flesh of His royalty”!! This was not healing for the wound of sin but health, comeliness, honor, glory, and dignity far beyond our natural state!! Man was not only forgiven, he was advanced far above angels, principalities, and powers both in Heaven and on Earth!! Each of these several blessings was ENOUGH to do away with sin, but God ran all of these together to make the last vestige of sin forgotten “in Christ.” If a man were thrown in prison for a debt of $10 and not only the man but his wife, children, and all his possessions sold and given away; then one came along and not only paid the $10 but $100,000 more PLUS lead the prisoner into the King’s court and allowed him communication in the realm of glory, that man would NEVER remember the initial cost of the $10. Christ paid down FAR MORE THAN WE OWED so that we can see that the payment for sin was not at all the blessing of blessings made, but far more than has been considered who harp continually on the burden of sin placed on the human race by Adam!! We are promised to “reign in life”.!! This explains verse 19. So far beyond the curse of sin righteousness has brought us (with the blessings and promises) that the penalty of sin should not be remembered, contested, or debated!! It is so much the more reasonable that many should find life through the plan of God than that many should be condemned by the sin of one man. The condemnation brought about by Adam’s sin had in it only the punishment of one sin while Christ overcomes all trespasses!! Or, to put it another way; life “in Christ” is far better than death in Adam was condemnation!!
For the Jew to make his brag in the Law was foolishness. For what did the Law offer them? It did not even bring remission of sin while “in Christ” we have remission sin and immortality!! The Law brought in an addition to sin, made sin more understandable, and the consequences of its being made known made the sinner worse for having known the Law!! The Law of Christ not only disarms death and sin but brings those of us who have been baptized into Christ both immortality and eternal life!! Doubt not then for your life “in Christ,” for righteousness brings about a life that only the plan of God could give consideration. True, freeing a man from sin is wonderful (that which the Law could not do) but also making that man the “joint-heir” of Jesus Christ will cause you to see the wonders of that “mystery held in the mind of God from the foundations of the world.”
Had Adam’s sin not shown Satan the “way in” to the vulnerability of mankind, none of us would face the despair sin brings. Since, in Adam, this imperfection abides, Satan has had his way with man since the beginning of time. How sad that in all that period of time man has never figured out the enemy who stands at the door of his heart and not the friend who gave His life to redeem mankind!! Who can comprehend the love of God?

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 40

Christ paid down far more than He owed for our soul, spirit, and body. As much more as the illimitable ocean is than a drop of water so our Lord’s price paid at Calvary was greater than the sin committed by Adam. Let NO man conceive self-worth on his part for the salvation that is “in Christ Jesus our Lord”!! Oh! Man, think not own the results of one sin and what it has wrought. Inquire how that mere spark of death and sin VANISHES, when you consider the sea of gifts that were brought in by the blood of God’s Only Begotten Son!! As the apostle Paul wrote; “we who have received abundance of grace and righteousness shall reign in life.” If for that one offense all were made sinners what would be the result of that one act of love?? Romans 5:18
When Adam sinned all men were made mortal, the process of transmutation was stopped, man had no end but separation from God; BUT when Christ died on the cross all men are made the righteousness of God!! The way into sin was the means of understanding the way into righteousness, BY ONE MAN!! As when one man sinned the path of deceit and death was shown unto Satan so by the death of God’s Son the means of life and righteousness was made known!! We who are “of Him” are to be made “like Him” who is the righteousness of God!! How could it follow that by the disobedience of one many were made sinners, does a man who has never sinned deserve the punishment of sin? Finding the key that unlocked the door to man’s weaknesses, Satan marched man past the plan of God to destroy all men by the same deception. The sinless deserve NO PUNISHMENT. If it were not for our own sin that separates our soul from God, man would not have become something “unnatural”! (It amazes me that to ask 9 out of ten people about the natural state of man, they answer that man’s natural state is SIN. This is not SO! Just like man’s natural end is not to become a “joint heir” with Jesus Christ!!) We are so far from taking spiritual death and condemnation from the sin of Adam as we are from being made righteous from the physical sacrifice of Jesus Christ!! It is far more reasonable that many should find life in one man”s act than that many should find death by one! The condemnation of Adam’s sin had the results determined only on one man’s soul but the obedience of Christ is not comparable to that one sin. His sacrifice wrought blessings to all who lived, both before they committed sin and afterward!! Life in Christ is far
Here are some facts: it is far better that we became mortal, for had we continued our transmutation and gained our immortal coil, how, where, and when could we be “resisted unto death,” restrained ourselves as sinners, and showed the magnanimous God of love our determinations of appreciation toward His grand and glorious plan?? It is from and in this mortal coil that the tempering of our desires and passions are restrained, it is in this body that the deaths of the martyrs and apostles were given, and in this earthly body that we have had opportunity to become like God!! For so in this body Abel was justified, Abraham was rewarded for sacrificing his only begotten son, the three children of Israel were glorified for submitting to the fires of Nebuchadnezzar, the prophet Daniel shown the “plan of the ages” before it became a reality, and the holy apostles were consigned to martyrdom before they were converted to Christ, and you and I have the invitation to “come back to the Father”!! After this body, immortality awaits!! This life has become sort of a school, we have come under instruction by means of disease, tribulation, temptation, and poverty readying us for perfection. We shall have gained, by being obedient unto death, our scars and advancements because of God’s demand of righteousness; so we by becoming obedient may prepare ourselves for that grand entrance afforded us into that “eternal kingdom” awaiting the righteous in that world to come!!! For IF we “die in the Lord” not even Satan himself will be able to hurt us, for we have “passed from death unto life!!” We may have even become fit for our reception as the adopted sons and daughter’s in the presence of the Almighty! “For who has known the mind of the Lord” or who has been His counselor? Oh!, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!” Romans 11:32-34 Don’t dare compare the sin of Adam to the plan of righteousness and the mystery of the Almighty!!
“Moreover the law entered, that the offense might abound, but where sin abounded…” Romans 8:20

What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Part 39

Continuing our discussion from last week, until there was a Law, covenant, or agreement between God and man, there was no way to sin! Adam and he alone was in covenant with God for the eating of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Eve was not. Had Eve eaten, she would have not sinned. This seems extremely difficult for some to understand. Eve was in the transgression, not the transgressor!! 1 Timothy 2:12-15 Both Adam and Eve passed on to mankind a curse.
Man was created by God. A part of life is death. Death at first carried no pain (as did childbirth for woman). When Adam sinned God changed the effect of death, it now would come with pain. Man would deteriorate, get old, and dissolve back into dust in or out of the grave. There are many examples in the Bible which show man DOES NOT HAVE TO DETEORIATE!! Enoch, Moses, and Caleb are examples that show man DOES NOT have to deteriorate. Animals were not affected nor ws any other creation, that all came with the Flood. No animal has EVER sinned and even though deterioration of their body comes, this was not a curse of sin! Quick death is often considered a blessing because the pain and anguish is not experienced. That man dies, then, is not punishment because of the sin, it is the natural law of cessation. That man dies in deterioration is not punishment, but that pain is associated with that death came from the penalty imposed on Adam and his seed. Eve had had children before she had sinned, with no pain of childbirth. As a part of her participation in the sin of Adam, Eve (and all the rest of the Eve’s until the end of time) women suffer pain in childbirth. Because some individual women do not have birth pains and some die without deterioration, does not change the Law of God. As has been stated many times in this series of studies; the ONLY things Adam of Eve could impose on their children would be PHYSICAL things, not spiritual. Neither Adam nor Eve could affect our spiritual make-up, association, or fellowship with God or the spiritual realm. Each human being born has an INDIVIDUAL responsibility, families, not a ancestors, nor genes answer to the “Judge of all the Earth” for them.
Adam sinned, the Holy Spirit through the apostle Paul writes; but his sin in NO WAY is equal to or the same as nor has the same magnitude as the death of Christ!! Paul’s first argument is that the kind or type of sin was not possible from Adam to Moses. The reason it could be possible after Moses is made clear; there was again a moral law (not the law of the conscience). The law of the conscience already existed before the moral law was given to Adam. The new moral law was the command to keep the Sabbath. This law was not binding on the Gentile or the Jewish women, only the circumcised Jewish male who lived under the Law of Moses!! (Even the circumcised Jewish male who lived and died BEFORE that day the Ten Commandments were given could not commit this type of sin!!) In Romans 5 the Jew was trying to make the faith of Abraham equal to the death of Jesus Christ. The whole passage is given to show the glory and power of the death of Christ-something even to which the sin of Adam could not be compared!! Death and Life are not equivalents!! GOD AND SATAN ARE NOT EQUALS. What the physical punishment given because of the sin of Adam and the participation in that sin by Eve was miniscule compared to the spiritual loss they suffered!! NO PHYSICAL DEATH WHICH WOULD ABOLISH SIN AND RESTORE FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD COULD BE COMPARED!! “For if through the offense of ONE (the) many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by ONE man, Jesus Christ, faith abounded unto (the) many.” Romans 5:15 Who are “the many” you ask? Matthew 20:28 tells us: “ Even as the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and so give His life a ransom for (the) many,” who Paul writes about in Galatians 3:26-27 when the Spirit leads him to write; “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus; For as many (there is your many!!) of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”
There is NOTHING that can compare to the grace (plan) of God which included the death of Christ!! This is how Adam is a type of Christ. Because of the sin of Adam all mankind is affected physically so by the death of Christ all affected, spiritually, even to those who did not die on the tree as did Christ!! The SPIRITUAL affects the spiritual, the physical the physical. That is Law!!
